Mind Stopped by Transmission: I tend to be wary of teachers/gurus...etc. I am familiar with transmission from Buddhist masters to their students, but I thought that years of training was necessary for the student to receive the transmission. I know of no other teachers, other than yourself, who so vocally claim to do so.

No-one Sees an Awakened Teacher Coming: I feel sometimes like I am just keeping myself busy and could be serving in another way in another place really helping others find themselves.
Works Every Time: I'm just replying to your Enlightenment-Now statement which I received and it sounds very interesting is there absolutely nothing one has to do ? This sounds just too easy and a bit of an exaggerated statement with all respect why should it be so easy anyway?
Thoughts Stop Dead: Oshana makes my thoughts stop dead, and this effect can recur regularly for a few weeks afterwards. I wake up in the middle of the night with my centre of consciousness about a foot above my head, which is a bit odd (especially when I'm lying on my side). What else... spontaneous giggle fits, because the whole thing is just so damn *funny*.

Real Bliss is Permanent: People do go into bliss/peace from time to time, and some do it a lot (maybe you are one of them or know someone close to you who does)! It is a special power or ability that allows people to be taken into bliss. Actually, it is very contagious. Quite a few seekers, as well as, 'teachers' can do it
There is Nothing to Do After Coming Home :-): It seems a particularly Buddhist thing to talk of stages: Awakening to Nirvana (The A-Zen of Enlightenment). I accept that after 'my' Awakening, that the manifested personality can be fined tuned to be nicer and nicer and nicer...ad infinitum. But that is just a social thing and has nothing to do with 'Being at Home'.

How to be There and Here at the same time?: Maybe when people sleep a lot they are going to that Nothingness place...the only problem is that they come back here. The task is how to be There and Here at the same time.
The World's Last Profession: It takes so long to reach people and build up a relationship. Then they discover that there is No-one Here and No-one is Searching and they go home to Nowhere-in-Particular but at least it's Home. They then forget about me. I promise Nothing. And people do get IT!
Knowing anything is not the point but the problem!: The seeker's problem is often that they think they do know something and that they know it better than everyone else including their 'teacher'. Which they do, of course. However, knowing anything is not the point but the problem! 'Not-knowing mind' is a condition of awe. It is not a thought or a statement.

Meetings Books and Tapes: I basically feel it would be great for a lot of people to get this 'IT' through a variety of ways, primarily via Meetings, but also books and tapes. People need to know that the Meetings exist and when the next lot are happening. I don't really have so much time for socialising in any formal way though I do meet 'Unconscious Buddhas on the Road' and deal with them accordingly as Destiny Desires.
Never be sad: If some person achieves total happiness they will never be sad, but if they are never sad for 50 years, they would soon forget what sad meant it would just evaporate into a neutral blank state, a void, with nothing for your mind to grasp onto or identify conceptually. That's an interesting conundrum but is it going to help you wake up? Maybe you are close to it.
I am not the identity: I know that I am not the identity and everything that comprises it. This is my direct experience. Sometimes it is good to allow whatever is there, as chasing bliss is tiring and that can lead to a loss of energy. I don't chose which thoughts will be there but choose which ones to express.
This work is really in silence: There is nothing that can be done or not done that will make the slighteest bit of difference. But being around a Teacher will increase the number of 'I am beyond it all' experiences that you have. This work is really in silence. It is not in the words or the appearance. No one has ever met the Teacher.I never met my Teachers, either. Just talking animated puppets.The real work happens out of space and time.
Honesty, openness and vulnerability: You require honesty, openness and vulnerability. You have to feel in the dark without using your mind. These are all qualities that you must have to face yourself.
Popular myths about Enlightenment: In any therapy or seeking culture there are popular myths about Enlightenment and 'the path'. Hating, crucifying, annexing, cauterising the ego is one result. The ego becomes the scapegoat. To aid communication a person's bits are divided into parts, even though the highest vantage point is to oneself as whole, of course not everyone feels like that,and so are unable to avow it. Any *enlightened* satsang teacher knows what the ego is.
Can there be a Personal Experience of Enlightenment?: It simply means that this Enlightenment, shift, has been with me every moment for one year now. It means that I know I am not David, his body, mind etc.
Infinite patience!: It's a viable theory to assume that conditioning creates an identity which becomes the problem. But that stage might be inevitable for all human beings!
Why Define Relationships?: How can we have any relationship unless it is allowed by destiny? Anyone who crosses your path, who is in your sphere, has something to do with you. What it is for you will become clear to you, and what it is for them will become clear to them.
An Actual Case of Awakening: 'I am surprised to find it still so obvious and yet not controlling me.' You are expressing choicelessness even now. But you will see clearly that it is NOT my work, but Consciousness expressing itself.
Sharing Your Enlightenment: People have to expose themselves to truth until they are so filled with it that there is nowhere to go, nowhere to look, because everywhere you look, there IT is! Keep the good company of awakened people.
Enlightenment. It has arrived already!: Nothing we say is ever 1000% correct. We communicate beyond words. IT communicates.
Ego is Identification - Forget the Concept: There is no transcendence. You don't go anywhere. You only cease to identify with the false identity. It happens naturally. You don't even need to have a concept about what will happen.
The waitress fills the teacup that is empty not the one that is full!: It is so weird to watch everyone speculate after a Dialogue meeting. Which is why I am dropping the concepts. Soon we will be able to just eat in peace and hang out in simple-minded joy without all this philosophising.
At Home - all the time: You are already home, where else could you be - at work perhaps? Just look with your inner eyes
The buck never stopped here.....: The identity is maintained for social, business and communication purposes. Thus from the world's viewpoint the buck stops with you. But really You are simply observing everything and we are all pretending that there is this character.
Who Would Identify with a Passing Mule?: The identification with body and mind is a thought. A tenacious thought. The mind and body have as much to do with you, Awareness, as a passing bus, donkey, holy man or clown. It is an error to identify such things, the objects in Awareness, with who you really are, i.e. Awareness.
Ego Trip! One Day Special for Bored Sages.: There are different meanings of the word 'ego'. Ego is identification. It can also mean 'empire-building behaviour'. 'Papaji spoke of drowning a little more each day.' But who drowns? Perhaps, the 'identity' drowns and comes up for air before getting a dunking again. Possibly, the dunking is automatic after Awakening.
Driving a Ferrari Sports Car: ... He said that finding happens when the seeking stops. I realise that is ambiguous and contentious. But the seeking is supposed to stop first - or so the new dogma says.
One Thing is Experienced as Permanent: All experiences in this world must be changing since the world is changing. However, where you are looking from now, 'That' doesn't appear to change, though your experiences of 'here' may. In that sense, it is the one unchanging experience and it seems permanently so.
Am I a Sat Guru? Oh, how I wished!: I am just an ordinary London lad. Moi, a 'Sat Guru'? Please don't use such names for (because for me) they are ridiculous. Moi, a 'Teacher of Truth'?. Truth cannot be easily taught. But I give a lesson: I encourage you to look. Really look at yourself. Totally naked, no make-up, not even with the radio on. What do you see? What is there? Really, what is there? 'Can you see what I see?' as the children's nursery rhyme goes.
*I* never sat in John de Ruiter's lap!: John and I have had many humorous (well I forced him to laugh though I never sat in his lap like one Satsang teacher) and long conversations. I once spoke to him for 90 minutes of a 180 minute session! People keep coming up to me saying 'I know your voice. I really liked that tape. I listen to it in the car all the time.'
Permanent Perspective Shift: I do not understand how one can have a temporary or partial perspective shift. My job is to facilitate making that shift permanent.
Here We Gyan Again!: There is no trying to see anything- there is only looking. You can look from your identity and it will be bewildered and may capitulate. You can look from Consciousness and you will be Home and realise all else is fictitious. It happens naturally. There is no effort or presupposition - you just look.
Fasting after Breakfast?: Self -realisation is, knowing who you are, is a birthright and doesn't need anything external. In a sense the Self is both on a fast and complete indulging in your life.

It is really easy to get Enlightened: Dropping concepts won't get you Enlightened but it will help your mind come to terms with it. To find out 'what IS Enlightenment' just be it.
The Word "Must"is Irrelevant: I would say that there is no 'must' in Life, as saying we 'must' be anything is a design of the mind to control Life.

How to drop something transitory?: How to drop something transitory?Try to drop it before it goes? Don't bother! Relax. it's gone already. Without resistance you wouldn't be here? Find out. Now. Accept it all because it happens the way it's going to happen? Yes.
Be in Being: Techniques won't produce enlightenment. Being doesn't do anything. Be in Being. There is no-thing to do. There is no method here. World constantly cuts down assumptions. That's Life!

There is no Club here: At some level you know what is going on but it can take time the mind, habits and cultural background to catch up on the extraodinary thing that is currently in manifestation. There is no Club here. There are no members but every one who meets this way is very special. You don't need a travel plan but may find that you arrive anyway.
Just surrender: What is stopping us what could be so fearful to stop the pain of this nightmare we call life?It's easy to blame the ego, the mind, the identity. That's looking for causes. Who has even seen the ego? It's easier to say that it just is the case. When you taste the Bliss of the Self, then that taste becomes everything for you and you just surrender very easily to it.
Don't expect to intellectualise: We will look at where you think you are and where you really are. This can lead to recognition. And in that moment there can be No Mind. Don't expect to intellectualise expect to have your inner senses attuned to 'experience' mode.
Nothing unfolds: Life is ordinary.Nothing unfolds.Focus on what you want to know. You might be surprised that the only way through is IN!

In that place there is always Happiness. It's like coming back from vacation with fond memories. Or even waking up with a big grin on your face but not remembering the dream.
Sartorial Satsang Style - Clown's Outfit: Of course, serious people with serious questions are still welcome. There is no discrimination, we even have let in dogs, because Japanese Zen monks have still not solved the koan 'Has a dog got Buddha Nature?' - so until then all are welcome!
Your answers have to come from the direct perception: Specificity is not essential to attain Liberation but only to give a good schpiel afterwards.
Resistance might be good for you!: Your answers have to come from the direct perception of what is happening now. Is 'resistance' an interpretation or your experience right now?
What you want, you will not find if you do not accept This: What has happened is that one has stopped judging it and the question of perfection is neither here nor there. Whatever you are looking for in the world you will not find if you want the world to be other than the way that it is!

Recognising One's Awakening as Fact: My current view, just to be dialectical and constantly moving, is that Awakening is happening all of the time but it goes unrecognised. Meeting another Awakened person seems to encourage recognition that Awakening is already a fact.
Too Busy Meeting New Awakees, Alice!: I am aware that 100's of people are claiming Awakening, and also teaching it in one form or another - I haven't the time or inclination to talk to more than a handful at the moment
Finishing the Business of Seeking Awakening: the "teacher's" job is to finish the search for the "student"

See-ing Self the way, not "not-See-King": It's a chicken and egg paradox what comes first: the end of seeking or the beginning of finding - they might even be simultaneous.
Where you are looking from now - knows Itself.: You can be both in Being and in Life because you already are. There is no limit - even if the mind cannot express it you have IT, nonetheless it is still your constant experience.

The Enlightened One acts to bring Relief from Illusory Suffering: When there are feelings of unworthiness, or Unrealistic Beliefs about Enlightenment, then the individual is Investing in Loss, The Mind, and gives the Mind the Power to staunchly hold on to its Kingdom of Illusion.
Why Techniques Cannot Give Enlightenment: Because using the mental, phsyical and emotional bodies only provides them with exercise, and creates too much focus upon them.
Breast is Best. Natural Immunity and Protection: It seems that having met an Awakened One at some time in one's life might be the key to getting it at a later date...
Transcend All Belief: Commitment and determination comes naturally from within. Place oneself in the vibrational field of a truly Awakened Person. In that one's company it is possible to transcend All Belief, all trying, all commitment and arrive at the Effortlessness of Being Your Self.
An everpresent aliveness: No one ever seems to make it. A good metaphor for seeking enlightenment...wanting to become and never making it! Meanwhile, BEING IS NOW! An everpresent aliveness and wholeness which can never be achieved, only recognized in this one Eternal MOMENT.
It will be sudden: Teaching is really communing and loving. It is not about words but Being(s) together. When Consciousness does strike - it will be sudden... but your mind may take it's time to realise what has happened.
Finding freedom: Finding freedom and stopping seeking seem to happen at the same time though the seeking may get less before that moment.
This is IT: Lack of apparent progress is generally indicative of being stuck in the mind. All concepts of progress are therein relative. You are not going anywhere - ever. You have already arrived. This is IT - what you are experiencing it doesn't get any better.
The experience of "What Is": Get into an energetic interaction with an awakened person. Is there anything you can do? Not easily. Most seekers are treading water or passing time until the Ocean Liner sails by to rescue them. We don't need to get into speculating who is the 'doer' or if there is a 'doer' just simply have the experience of 'What Is' and discard 'What is Not'.
The only way to finish the journey: I don't speak of the ego much. But let's say I do massage it until it dissolves! We offer no practices, no rules and no membership or staged fellowship. The only commitment one has to make is to oneself: to be honest, open and vulnerable. That can be scary but it is the only way to finish the journey.
Liberation from Ignorance: 'Enlightenment' and 'Compassion' are part of the same dance. Compassion is definitely here. It feels like I am teaching all the time, every single second to bring Liberation from Ignorance. I could be inspiring with words. But inspiration is only bait. It just means a part of you is open.
Lollipops aka Temporary Experiences: Papaji called them 'lollipops' and Ramesh Balsekar 'calling cards'. They seem to be part of the way for some. The real aim is for the person to open up to and see Reality and stay there. Osho was a real Past Master at getting the juice going and zapping sannyasins
No Time Limits: I am yet to see proof that every prospective teacher should wait years, and have heard different figures from 20 years to 2 years. Well, I didn't wait that long but then it just started out as sharing. If awakening is outside of time and space it is really quite funny that people try to impose time limits on teaching and sharing.
Futile Efforts: Ditch your questions: Last night it seemed less as if you answered my questions than that you superceded them: know of a market for slightly used questions, going cheap? [Oshana] Best ditch them as soon as possible. They will cost you dearly in space,time and effort.
Oneness is like Porridge: There is only one thing and no separation...that is my experience in words. I call it porridge. It does have a seamless quality to It -- what was heretofore divided by relative mind into subject-object-action... is now one, indivisible, nondual. For example, no seer, no seen, no act of seeing -- there's just seeing.
Awakening is when there is no confusion: I see them reaching clarity. The teaching is not about words but directly experiencing what is true. Words are a small part of the total teaching experience. Truth isn't spoken. It is experienced.
All Questions Ceased to Exist: The mind races to make a contribution or send out a fact-finding delegation again and again only to return frustrated and eventually give up because there is nothing to hold on to. There are only useless items to drop, and when they all fall down, then there is only you - naked in your Original Birthday Suit.
Just got a lovely Happy Enlightenment greeting card from Priya!: It was exactly one year ago that Awakening happened here...and what a year it has been. Fire from heaven...they are 'lighting up'....light everywhere...people becoming awake -- Truth.

Re:Matrix as a Spiritual Practice: The aim is to allow all layers of being to become permeable to the energy of awakening which some people find scary when they see the part-costs of waking up,and so their trajectory falls short of enlightenment..for now

Psychic: It is always there - that is that which is all-satisfying, but nothing can take one away from it, that is now my experience. For some it seems they do not recognise it. This is a mystery that I am dedicated to uncover.
Free will or God's Will?: Satyam Nadeen states 'no free will only God's will, good or evil'. So, nothing to do to wake up? Either happens by grace or doesn't? He also says 'reincarnation never happens', we all 'melt' back into God at death.
