Enlightenment, Experience & Philosophers Who Reinterpret It

Is this true?- 'There is nothing that you can do.' Enlightenment is a wonderful experience - for a human being. It is qualitatively different from any description of Enlightenment. It is available to all who sincerely seek it.

I suspect, but have not had the inclination to investigate it, that there is a Hidden School of Advaitic Pedantics, who parse every sentence for non-dual sense.

These philosophers, having never tasted the indescribable bliss of Full Awakening, i.e. Enlightenment, declare that such an experience is irrelevant, and thereby reveal the utter blandness of their own lives, which have become a useless exercise in desperately defending nothing more than a poor description of the enlightened state for a human being.

Any description of Enlightenment is like the faeces you leave behind in the toilet. But beggars, believing they might raise their status by feigning a close and intimate association with the king, greedily scoop up every last bit of monarchic muck, endlessly pore over it, and jealously defend it from other would-be pretenders to the Royal Throne.

Full relief will only come when they dump it. Poo is for the pan and is not to be carried around. Constipation causes suffering, and suffering people are envious, humourless and cynical.

These philosophers, would-be pretenders of Enlightenment, attempt to hide their ignorance by spreading confusion and misinformation. They do this by hair-splitting and quoting "authorities". No authority has ever described Enlightenment. These descriptions are "myths". These Plato's Cave dwellers, have never seen the light, and attempt to dissuade others from venturing out.

They say, "No-one can give you Enlightenment. Enlightenment is not an experience. Anyone who claims to be Enlightened is not enlightened. There is nothing that you can do to get Enlightened. You must not want Enlightenment because then Enlightenment will not come."

The result of your such misinformation is confusion and dis-empowerment. There is something you can do. You can seek out someone who openly and honestly says "I am Enlightened and I can show you Enlightenment if you really want Enlightenment"

Enlightenment is a wonderful experience - for a human being. It is qualitatively different from any description of Enlightenment. It is available to all who sincerely seek it.
